Slovenia

Slovenia
Slovenia mapAll from Slovenia surprised me because I didn’t know anything about this place. But some things called my attention and they were: the date of the Slovenian independence surprised me, because it was few years ago (in 1992), the landscapes and where Slovenia is situated (in the map).
If I could choose, I would like to visit the capital from Slovenia because I suppose that it is a place with more things for tourist. Anyway in the capital I would visit the different places near the capital.
About the typical food, I would taste some typical dishes but I suppose that it wouldn’t like me because I do not like heavy meals.

TriglavSlovenia is a brand new country located in Central Europe. They got their independence from Yugoslavia a few years ago. Slovene is spoken in that country and its main religion is Roman Catholic.
The architecture is beautiful, but what really impresses me the most are its landscapes and biodiversity.
Everything seems to be so clean and peaceful.
Its landscapes are absolutely amazing. You can practice a lot of sports and do a lot of activities in all parts of the country during all seasons. Skiing in winter, sailing, surfing and diving in summer; those are only a few of the things you can do there.
About their highest mountain, Triglav, people say that every true Slovene must reach its top at least once in their lives; interesting, isn’t it?
In a few words: Slovenia: It’s worth visiting.

officeBLOCK BALCONIES – OFIS ARCHITECTS won a national design competition created by Slovenia Housing Fund, a government-run programme that is providing low-cost apartments for young families.

Internal spaces may be small, however the unique trapezoidal-shaped balconies accentuate external perspectives and views directly to the sea. Structural elements are located externally as well thereby allowing more spacious living areas while taking advantage of the limited area of each unit and helping to keep the square metre cost low.

These defining features provide ample external space for each unit, while innovative side paneling allows for both privacy and ventilation.

K67 KIOSKKiosk
The K67 is a kiosk design, introduced in 1966 by the Slovene architect and designer Saša J. Mächtig. Its system is based on polyfibre reinforced modules, which could be used as single units or combined to large agglomerations. It inhabits the cities as newspaper kiosks, parking-attendant booths, copyshops, market stands, shelter booths, chip stalls, student cafes or lottery stands, easily visible and accessible, in different colours and combinations. The unified functional design of the units enables them to fit almost any location and its context as well as numerous, diverse functions.
